Daffodils? ... Already?

Post by BobBlack on Sun Jan 13, 2008 8:02 am

Would even Wordsworth be amazed? Travelling towards London on the A3 yesterday (12th January at 8.00am), I came off the slip road to Esher and was astounded to see a "host of golden daffodils". There they were, hundreds of them, in full bloom, on a part of the roundabout beneath the main A3 road.
Spring seems to be coming earlier every year. A bank of full grown daffodils and we're not even through the second week of January yet! Has any one else seen them?
They were a wonderful sight to see, but is this another sign of global warming? Rolling Eyes
